Creating special touches with light has been the mainstay of PLD’s work. Beginning with conceptual sketches proposed to the owner and refining these with assistance from the builder, a custom curved foyer chandelier in length, color and wiring configuration was designed and then built by a Murano fabricator. Working closely with the owner, all interior decorative sconces and ceiling pendants were selected that harmonize carefully with surrounding interior finishes and color schemes. The entry gate and exterior decks were graced by, custom wall sconces with transitional detailing. The extensive landscape lighting on the exterior landscape involves three individual lighted terrace levels with a connecting tram from the main house to the lower cabana. All lighting instruments, both exterior and interior are controlled by a computer controlled dimming system which adjusts automatically each day to sunset and is easily operated by the homeowner.
